  • Jen Nagy-Cordray & Spa Therapy Wellness Center

I’ve been going to Jen since August 2010.  She is absolutely amazing!   I have a neck and shoulder injury that causes my muscles to tighten up, and she helps to relax them.  When I first began going I was having awful neck spasms - I wouldn’t be able to sit in class without my neck involuntarily twitching.  After the first few visits the twitching was gone and has never come back!  That is what I call a FABULOUS massage therapist!

I can honestly say that after every visit I feel a thousand times better and happier.  The entire Spa Therapy Team is excellent.  They take their time and mold their services to fit your exact needs.  I couldn’t ask for anything better!

  • Wellness

I’ve been meaning to post on here for a few months.  I was in a pretty serious auto accident last Fall. The very next day I was in for a massage with Duane, steam and hydro-therapy.  It was the best thing I could have done to jump start the healing process. In December I did the Mlis lemonade, herbal detox.  I noticed a huge difference in my muscles, joints and overall health.

I’m ready to do another, to help with the healing process.  I’m also ready to renew my membership.  I don’t think I could have gotten through without all of you or the steam room!!

  • Beale AFB comment at Yuba-Sutter Chamber event

    Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce
    Happy Monday everyone!

I just wanted to share with you the email I received this morning from
one of our new spouses that attended Happy Landings on Friday. I am
passing along the gratitude to all of you that support Happy Landings.
It is because of YOU our community ROCKS!
    Cheers to all of you!
    Mandy
    Chamber of Commerce

    “Hi Mandy,
My name is Celeste and I was at the Happy Landings. I had to duck out
right before you finished to pick up my daughter from school but wanted
to thank you for taking the time to give us all that information! I
have to admit, when I first showed up, Yuba/Marysville was not high on
my list of places to see. But now that I know what there IS to see, our
family will definitely be touring around and trying out the many things
you talked about. It’s really great for you to take your time to tell
new people to Beale about Yuba/Sutter area.
Also, a huge thanks for all the gifts you gave away! That’s fantastic!
Thank you for all your hard work. Celeste”

  • The Best place all around…

I have been going to Spa therapy for over 9 years now and find it to be the best place all around. I have tried many other spas and massage centers and this is truly the best.A place where they truly care about you and how you feel and what you think.

I started with Jen as a referral by my primary care doctor at the time, as I was having such pain with my back (old back surgery injury) and did not care to live on pain pills (was looking for an alternative to help with the pain). Jen and her staff were able to keep me drug free with their massages and care. Whenever I need a little extra time I just call and they are so helpful, professional and excited to help me out by squeezing me in with an appointment.

Through the years she has assisted me with a neck and shoulder injury from a car accident, the on going pain of the the back injury(now it usually only hurts when I do something wrong or really bad weather), and my feet from wearing high heels too much and in many other ways. She even assisted my daughter who had whiplash injury from cheer leading years ago.

My daughter loved the treatments so much she returns off and on even when she was pregnant and now that she lives in Southern California still sneaks in for an appointment when she is in town.

Years past when my daughter graduated from high school , I had several family members here from Boston and wanted to thank them for helping with grad night and for coming so we did one of Jen’s parties with the treatments and appetizers and my sisters/friends still speak of it to this day and how much enjoyment and relaxation the event had been for us.

I truly enjoy all the treatments: steam room, water massage, reflexology, facials and massages along with all the information and friendship Jen and her staff provide.

I will continue to have massages and facials with Spa Therapy as I know my good health, skin and flexibility is great from these services.

The products are wonderful as well and supports our local community and as one in the building industry I applaud her going green and organic!

In closing, I would like to say that Jen and her staff always make me feel like I am a VIP when I come for an appointment. They are always so friendly. I have observed this attitude and care with others as they come and go. This is customer service at its best and who can pass up all the great shows and events and her support of our great community and all of us.

Thank you Jen and Spa Therapy staff!

    Happy Holidays..Nancy S, Browns Valley

  • Spa therapy was a great help

I have been a patron of spa Therapy ever since I became too old [83 year old man] and no loner able to cut my toe nails myself.  I schedule appointments for a year at a time.  I am very satisfied with the pedicures I have received this year.  The spa is the best in the Yuba City, Marysville area by far and would compare very favorably with the Bay Area.  The staff is knowledgeable, considerate, polite and friendly.  Ambience is A-1.

I have also received several massages which have made me feel years younger.  What more can I say.

But the the greatest benefit I have received is a cure for gastric reflex that had plagued me for years.  I always seemed to get an attack when I began to eat my evening meal.  This was embarrassing and very inconvenient especially when I was hosting customers at a restaurant, the spell would last for 45 minutes to one hour.  I went to many doctors and in desperation even went to the famous clinic in La Hoya.  I have had my diet changed, restricted, pills proscribed over a period of many years.  NOTHING HELPED.

I had a reflexology treatment at Spa therapy and have not had a spell since.  I go for a treatment about every sic months mor3 for preventative purposes then anything else.  I will always be grateful to spa Therapy for the cure.

  • Six years ago I had a total knee replacement.  Soon thereafter, I had another operation on the same knee to “remove scar tissue” because of the intense pain I was still experiencing.  I was then advised to go back to physical therapy to help with the healing process.  Still the pain continued, with scar tissue once again building up around the knee.  All in all, the pain was daily, so I decided to visit other knee specialists.  All in all I saw three orthopedic surgeons, one in Red Bluff, one at Stanford University, and one at University of California, Davis.  None of them had any answer or solution to the pain I was still experiencing for the past six years, except for me to take more physical therapy.  A month ago, my wife suggested I see Jennifer and perhaps massage could help.  Well, I am here to tell you that not only did it help, my knees are basically pain free and my mobility has increased tenfold.  Prior to going to Jennifer, I could barely walk over 50 yards, without both knees and hips hurting.  Today, I can walk almost a 1/2 mile before some mild discomfort enters the picture.  Through her treatments she has eliminated a lot of “scar tissue” and has increased my mobility.  I highly recommend her to anyone out there who is still suffering from pain due to a previous orthopedic operation.

  • Rich Langner CMT

I was a former instructor of Anatomy, Physiology & Massage Therapy @ the Institute of Massage Therapy in Costa Mesa CA. I had the very great pleasure of being treated by Jen, the owner of Spa Therapy Wellness Center. It was one of the BEST & EFFECTIVE treatments I have ever received! Her professionalism, techniques were great! If you have soft tissue problems, this is the place to go…

  • SUMMER SPA THERAPY ART & WINE SOCIAL

    PHOTOGRAPHER LANA MARCH FAREWELL EXHIBIT.

Lana’s pictures are as vivid and true as the moment they were captured. Her naturalistic approach to photography is a true testimony to the beauty of the world that surrounds us every day. Lana Rebecca March’s unique eye for beauty and patience comes from years of observation. “I became a photographer long before I owned my first camera. I knew life was beautiful and I used to frame specific moments in my mind where I have organized many albums.” Photographs immortalize the dancing light and have the power of speaking to you on the sad days. It is magical. Everywhere I turn, there is a photograph that lives there.

  • Erica is great and her idea of having the last ten or fifteen minutes of my pedicure include a shoulder message (for only 10 bucks more) is outstanding.  I would encourage anyone who is having Erica work on them to try it.  As most of you already know, Erica is special and a delight to be around.  Her new concept is truly a treat.

Tagged: Thank you Jim! I hope you inspire more men to try this service. We have decided to add this to the menu thanks to you! We call it 'Jim's Pedi-Massage'. We are happy this combination gives you relaxation and care. submission
